My name is Ms. Dismond. I will be learning and teaching with your child this school year. I have taught grades K2 - grade 4, while in the Boston Public School System, as well as several short term administrative roles. I have been with the David A. Ellis Elementary School for several years, and this year I will be returning to teach grade 3 again! I have always had a passion for learning all subjects as a student and graduated from the Boston Public School system, which is why I became a teacher with Boston Public Schools.
My pledge to you and your child is to help them discover and guide their potential to succeed. To do my job effectively and proficiently, I will need your ongoing support this year. A supportive family is the foundation that strengthens the learning path for all students. I believe in the African proverb, 'It Takes A Village.' We will be facing obstacles together, and with your cooperation and open lines of communication, I believe together we will have a great and productive year! You are essential!
