Hello! My name is Nicole Elliott and I am the Third Grade, Sheltered English Immersion teacher at the David A. Ellis School. This will be my third year as part of our wonderful Ellis Community!
I graduated with a Master of Elementary Education degree from UMass Boston in 2019 through the Teach Next Year program. I also hold a Master of Public Administration degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. I have been teaching for nine years.
I grew up in the Town of Weymouth and attended Weymouth Public Schools. I love to curl up with a cup of coffee, a great book, and my two cats - Gryf and Raven. I also love spending time with my family.
I enjoy creating a classroom community where we all get to know each other, respect each other, learn a lot, and have lots of fun. My classroom is a place where mistakes are welcomed - that’s how we learn! My classroom is a place of laughter - we learn the best when we have fun doing it! I love when my classroom is buzzing with students who are engaging with the material and collaborating with each other.
