This is my 7th year in the role of instructional coach at the Ellis. For the upcoming school year I will focus on supporting math instruction K-6 including the implementation of the Illustrative Math curriculum and a successful launch of the ST Math Grant Program! Sarah Mock is joining the Ellis team as the K-6 Transformation Coach and will be your ELA instruction point person! Before coming to the Ellis, Sarah worked as a Social Emotional Academic Development (SEAD) Coach for Region 3 supporting schools, including the Ellis, in embedding SEL into academics. She started her career as a 3rd grade teacher in Raleigh, NC and then moved to Boston where she taught 3rd and 4th grade at a charter school in Mattapan. When she’s not at school, you can find her reading and recommending books, traveling, going to concerts, or practicing yoga and pilates!
