Student Chromebook Commitments & Expectations

  • Daily Expectations:
    • I will charge my Chromebook and bring it to school, ready to use every day.
    • I will bring my headphones and a charger to class every day.

  • Chromebook Safety:
    • I will keep my Chromebook in my backpack when not in use.
    • I will keep liquids and food away from my Chromebook at all times.
    • I will hold my Chromebook with two hands when walking.
    • I will avoid throwing, sliding, or placing weight on my Chromebook.
    • I will never leave my Chromebook unattended.

  • Classroom Expectations:
    • I will only use my Chromebook at appropriate times during class. 
    • I will only wear headphones if I get permission from a teacher.
    • I will ONLY use my assigned Chromebook. 
    • I will use my Chromebook to complete class assignments and avoid distractions during class. 

Special Note: Appropriate Usage
  • Any activity not related to classroom instruction is considered inappropriate use
  • Violating copyright laws, plagiarism, sending, accessing, uploading, downloading or distributing threatening or sexually explicit material is against the law and may result in legal actions
  • Assume that no material or data on the Chromebook is private or confidential; Chromebooks are Boston Public Schools’ property

Los compromisos de los estudiantes y expectativas del Computadora ​​

Expectativas diarias:
  • Voy a cargar mi Chromebook y llevarlo a la escuela, listo para usar, todos los días.
